The US Census Bureau have released the 2015 American Community Survey (ACS) single-year detailed socioeconomic estimates. ACS is a sample survey that releases estimates on a wide range of characteristics such as ancestry, language spoken at home, income, educational attainment, poverty, occupation, commuting, and more. ACS releases single-year estimates for areas with populations over 65,000 and 5-year estimates for areas regardless of population to subcounty areas such as census tracts and block groups. The 2015 single-year estimates were released today, and the 2011-2015 ACS estimates will be released on December 8, 2016.
